Waraba Gold Limited is a Canadian junior explorer building a West African gold portfolio focused primarily on Côte d’Ivoire, with additional exposure to Mali. The investment case is a large Birimian land position in underexplored areas near operating mines, an experienced regional technical team and funding from the April 2026 C$4.5M financing.
The immediate focus is Tengrela, where September 2026 trenching at the Fetiko target returned 6.60 m at 1.16 g/t Au and auger drilling outlined an approximately 1.9 km gold-in-saprolite anomaly. No company RC or diamond drilling has yet tested the target. Sirasso adds the 11.5 km Ouobolo shear corridor and historical intercepts up to 39 m at 1.55 g/t Au.
The company currently has no compliant MRE or economic study, so value remains dependent on successful first-pass drilling, funding and project access.
List of Projects:
Project 1: Tengrela, Côte d’Ivoire — Gold
Earn-in project covering approximately 399 km² in the Boundiali belt between the Syama and Sissingué mines. Nine targets are defined; Fetiko hosts a 1.9 km auger anomaly and trench channel sampling of 6.60 m at 1.16 g/t Au. Maiden RC drilling is being designed.
Project 2: Sirasso, Côte d’Ivoire — Gold
Earn-in project covering approximately 369 km², about 70 km south of Tongon. The 11.5 km Ouobolo shear corridor contains a 7.7 km mineralized trend and historical intercepts including 39 m at 1.55 g/t Au.
Project 3: Tengrela South, Côte d’Ivoire — Gold
Binding JV for a 90% interest, subject to permit approval. The approximately 395.22 km² permit application adjoins Waraba’s district position. Consideration includes cash, 1.5M shares, a 2.5% NSR and a capped resource milestone.
Project 4: Fokolore, Mali — Gold
75% project interest covering the Mamoudouya shear zone. Historical trenching and 2024 RC drilling returned gold mineralization, but operations have been suspended since March 2025 because of security and regulatory conditions.
