Taranis Resources Inc. is a Canadian precious- and base-metal explorer/developer focused on its 100%-controlled Thor Project in southeastern British Columbia. The investment case is concentrated but highly leveraged: Thor combines a near-surface, high-grade silver-gold-zinc-lead-copper resource with a 6,470 ha district-scale land position, road access, fee-simple Crown grants and more than 250 historical and modern drill holes.
The April 2024 Mineral Resource contains approximately 1.139 Mt Indicated grading 152 g/t Ag, 0.75 g/t Au, 1.90% Pb, 3.10% Zn and 0.12% Cu, plus 0.599 Mt Inferred grading 117 g/t Ag, 0.66 g/t Au, 1.58% Pb, 3.29% Zn and 0.15% Cu. The 2.8 km Thor mineralized trend links five historic mines, while the broader approximately 14 km district contains more than 30 prospects and former mines.
The near-term de-risking strategy is to advance the fully permitted 10,000-tonne bulk sample and gravity pre-concentration plant, validate recovery and product quality, drill expansion targets and use those results to support a future PEA/PFS.
List of Projects:
Project 1: Thor / Silver Cup Project
British Columbia, Canada — Silver, gold, zinc, lead and copper, with potential antimony, indium and gallium by-products. 100%-controlled flagship project covering approximately 6,470 ha. It contains the current MRE, five linked historic mines and the permitted 10,000-tonne bulk-sample program.
Project 2: Core Expansion Targets within Thor
British Columbia, Canada — Polymetallic resource-expansion optionality. Key targets include Nortran, Ram, Borr, One O’Clock / I-1, Thunder and Horton. Nortran and Ram target extensions to known mineralisation, Borr is a 2025 discovery, and One O’Clock/I-1 targets a deeper intrusive-source concept.
Project 3: Regional Thor / Silver Cup Portfolio
British Columbia, Canada — District-scale precious/base-metal exploration optionality. Includes Abrahamson, Ajax, Baltimore, Black Eagle, Brow, Bruce, California, Canadian, Canadian Boy, Copper Queen, Davey, Ferguson Fe-Au, Florence, Gold Bug, GUS, GYP, IXL, Jumbo, Katinka, Kootenay, Moly, Nettie L, New Zone Copper, Rambler/Ramble, Raven/Ravine, Sharon-Old Reliable, Slash, Sunset and Tonowanda.
