Description

MinRex Resources Limited is the ASX-listed successor to Electrum Discovery Corp., formed through an April 2026 merger of equals that combined Electrum's Serbian gold-copper exploration portfolio with MinRex's existing Sofala Gold Project in New South Wales, Australia. The flagship asset is the Novo Tlamino project in southern Serbia, which hosts an inferred resource of approximately 670,000 ounces gold-equivalent at 2.9 g/t AuEq, including a Barje deposit resource of 570,000 oz gold and 8.8 million ounces silver. The company also holds the Timok East copper-gold exploration project in eastern Serbia's Timok Magmatic Complex.

No PEA, PFS, or DFS has been published for either the Novo Tlamino or Sofala resources, so there are no mine-life, production, NPV, IRR, capex, or AISC figures available yet. The Sofala Gold Project in New South Wales adds a second material asset, hosting an inferred resource of over 350,000 ounces gold at 1.6 g/t Au, contributed by the legacy MinRex side of the merger.
