Description

Griffin Mining Limited is an AIM-listed producer of zinc, gold, silver and lead, operating the Caijiaying mine in Hebei Province, China, about 250 kilometres northwest of Beijing. It holds its interest through Hebei Hua Ao and a 90% stake in Hebei Sino Anglo Mining Development, and the licence has been renewed to 2054. The mine has a total resource of about 81 million tonnes, including 67.2 million tonnes at Zones II and III containing about 2.39 million tonnes of zinc.

In the first half of 2026 it reported revenue of US$77.3 million, EBITDA of US$36.3 million, profit after tax of US$21.0 million and cash of US$39.6 million with no debt. Output was constrained to about 50% of capacity by regulatory scrutiny after a mining accident in China. Full Zone II production awaits a safety permit expected in the fourth quarter of 2026, and the company has cancelled 3.3 million shares through buybacks.
