Description

Fortune Bay Corp is a Canadian gold developer advancing the 100%-owned Goldfields Gold Project, a past-producing open-pit gold asset in northern Saskatchewan. The company also holds optioned, partner-funded uranium and rare-earth exploration projects (Murmac & Strike, The Woods) and a non-core Mexican gold asset (Poma Rosa) currently under legal review.

An updated Preliminary Economic Assessment released in 2025 outlines a 13.9-year mine life processing 25.2 Mt at 1.16 g/t Au through a 4,950 tpd facility, for total payable production of 896,000 oz gold (averaging 64,000 oz/year, with 99,000 oz/year in years 1-4). At a US$2,600/oz base case, after-tax NPV5% is C$610M and after-tax IRR is 44%, with initial capex of C$301M and AISC of US$1,330/oz; at spot gold (~US$3,650/oz), after-tax NPV5% rises to C$1,253M and IRR to 74%.
