Description

Emperor Metals Inc is a Canadian gold explorer (CSE: AUOZ) advancing two projects in Quebec's Southern Abitibi Greenstone Belt, the flagship Duquesne West project, under an earn-in option to acquire 100% from Globex Mining, and the smaller Lac Pelletier property near Rouyn-Noranda. Management includes CEO John Florek (formerly senior geology roles at Barrick's Hemlo mine, Placer Dome and Kirkland Lake Gold) and Chairman John Williamson, who has founded and chaired more than 20 mining companies and raised over $1B CAD.

Duquesne West carries a July 2025 inferred resource of 26.9 Mt at 1.69 g/t Au for 1.46 Moz gold, roughly 44% conceptually open-pit amenable and 56% underground mineable, with a fully-funded 15,000 m 2026 drill program underway to expand and upgrade the resource. No PEA, PFS or DFS exists yet at either project. Lac Pelletier carries a smaller resource (89,400 oz M&I plus 137,600 oz Inferred) and benefits from over 3.3 km of existing underground development from prior operations.
