Description

DRDGOLD Ltd. is a long-established South African gold producer and the world's largest gold surface tailings retreatment operator, running two operations near Johannesburg: Ergo, with two processing plants and combined capacity of 1.7 million tonnes per month and Mineral Reserves of 3.27 million ounces, and Far West Gold Recoveries (FWGR), with Mineral Reserves of 2.26 million ounces. The company is majority owned (approximately 50.1%) by Sibanye-Stillwater, one of the world's largest precious metals producers, following Sibanye's exercise of its option to increase its stake.

In FY2026, DRDGOLD produced 155,577 ounces of gold (essentially flat year-over-year) at an AISC of US$1,986/oz, generating revenue of R11,159 million (up 42%) and headline earnings of R4,253.7 million (up 89%), and increased its total annual dividend to 170 SA cents per share, up from prior-year levels. FY2027 guidance calls for 160,000-170,000 ounces of production at an AISC of approximately R1,230,000/kg, with planned capital expenditure of around R3 billion.
