Discovery Mining Ltd. (formerly Discovery Silver Corp.) is a Canadian gold producer and major silver developer, transformed in 2025 through its US$425 million acquisition of Newmont's Porcupine Complex near Timmins, Ontario, plus the June 2026 addition of the Kidd operations, giving the company an established, multi-mine gold production base with critical minerals byproduct potential. The company is led by CEO Tony Makuch, who previously built Kirkland Lake Gold from 315,000 to over 1,400,000 ounces of annual gold production before its roughly C$13 billion 2022 merger with Agnico Eagle Mines.

Discovery guided full-year 2026 gold production of 260,000-300,000 ounces at an AISC of $1,950-2,250/oz, and reported record Q2 2026 revenue of $319.1 million on 67,309 ounces produced. Alongside its Porcupine gold operations, the company owns 100% of the Cordero project in Chihuahua, Mexico, one of the world's largest undeveloped silver deposits, with a positive feasibility study outlining after-tax NPV of US$1.2 billion, 28% IRR, and Measured & Indicated resources of 910 million ounces silver-equivalent.
