Dakota Gold Corp. is a US gold developer advancing the Richmond Hill Gold Project in the historic Homestake District of Lead, South Dakota, alongside the nearby Maitland property and a Barrick surface-rights option, all within a single district-scale land package. Richmond Hill hosts a near-surface, heap-leachable resource of 3.65 million ounces of Measured and Indicated gold plus 2.61 million ounces Inferred, and the company is now working toward a Pre-Feasibility Study targeted for completion in Q4 2026.

The 2025 Initial Assessment with Cash Flow, using a base case of $2,350/oz gold, outlined a 17-year mine life on the Measured and Indicated resource alone, with total production of 2.6 million ounces, after-tax NPV5% of $1.6 billion, IRR of 55%, initial capex of $384 million (including contingency), and AISC of $1,047/oz. Including Inferred material extends mine life to 28 years and production to 3.9 million ounces. The company also holds the separate Maitland gold project and an option over Barrick's Homestake surface rights as secondary district assets.
