Description

Compass Gold Corp is a TSX Venture-listed exploration and small-mine development company focused on its 1,146 km² Sikasso Property in southern Mali, West Africa, with its primary near-term target being the Massala prospect along the 14km Tarabala Trend. Trenching has returned high-grade results including 20 metres at 4.13 g/t gold, with a best interval of 4 metres at 19.19 g/t, and the company has advanced bulk-sample and metallurgical testing to support a small-scale mine development plan.

No formal NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate, PEA, PFS or DFS has been published; the company's small-mine exploitation permit application has faced delays under Mali's evolving mining code, and Compass has since launched resource-definition drilling at Massala to build toward its first formal resource estimate rather than relying solely on trench results.
