Description

Capitan Silver Corp. is a Vancouver-based silver-gold exploration company listed on the TSXV (CAPT) and OTCQX (CAPTF) that owns 100% of the 2,551-hectare Cruz de Plata project in Durango, Mexico. The project has more than 21 kilometres of mapped high-grade silver veins, and drilling at the Jesús María trend has shown over 2.5 kilometres of continuity, with intercepts such as 2,636 g/t silver over 1.5 metres and 1,400 g/t silver over 4.6 metres. Management, led by CEO Alberto Orozco, previously built and operated three mines at Argonaut Gold.

The adjacent Capitan Hill oxide gold deposit hosts an inferred resource of 525,000 ounces of gold after a 115% increase, and there is no silver resource, PEA, PFS or DFS. A 60,000 metre multi-rig program (up to four rigs) is under way in 2026, funded by C$29 million raised in December 2025 through a C$23 million bought deal and a C$6 million Schroders placement, and the company reports no warrants and no royalties on the project.
