Description

Auro Metals Inc (formerly Tincorp Metals/Whitehorse Gold) is a gold-copper development company advancing the Santa Barbara project in the Zamora Copper-Gold Belt of southeastern Ecuador, acquired from Silvercorp Metals in May 2026. The project spans 55.3 square kilometres across six licenses and hosts an indicated resource of 29.8 million tonnes at 0.73 g/t gold and 0.10% copper (697,000 gold ounces) plus an inferred resource of 205.7 million tonnes at 0.52 g/t gold and 0.09% copper (3.42 million gold ounces), totaling 4.3 million gold-equivalent ounces.

No PEA, PFS, or DFS has been completed yet. The company is running an aggressive Phase II drilling program of 20,000 metres, including a recent 905-metre intercept grading 0.60 g/t gold, following an initial 10,000-metre Phase I campaign with four rigs, with a 50,000-metre program planned through Q1 2027 to expand and upgrade the resource ahead of future economic studies.
