Description

Auriginal Mining Corp (formerly Kintavar Exploration Inc.) is a Canadian exploration company advancing the Roger copper-gold project in the Chibougamau district of Quebec's Eastern Abitibi Belt, targeting a porphyry copper-gold system overlain by gold-rich VMS mineralization. Phase 1 drilling returned a 125.3-metre intercept grading 0.67 g/t gold with higher-grade mineralization at depth, expanding the known footprint roughly 700 metres along strike and over 100 metres deeper.

A 2018 historical resource estimate outlined an indicated 10.9 million tonnes at 0.85 g/t gold (333,000 gold-equivalent ounces) and an inferred 6.6 million tonnes at 0.75 g/t gold (202,000 gold-equivalent ounces), but the company states this has not been verified to current NI 43-101 standards and cannot be relied upon; a revised resource estimate is underway alongside an active multi-hole drilling campaign.
